Von Buhl Bone Dry Riesling, Pfalz 2022

This is made by a small cave cooperative in the heart of the Mittelhart region of the Pfalz wine region, one which stretches all the way to the Alsace border.

As the name indicates it really is BONE DRY – and as the German wine law dictates you can have up to 9 grams per litre of residual sugar (for which anything over 4 grams per litre is not dry) and yet still call it ‘dry’. Here it (0.5 grams RS) focuses on the clean crisp minerality of the grape with lime freshness and minerally notes. 12.% vol.
