Quinta dos Carvalhais Tinto, Dao 2021

Ruby red in colour. On the nose this wine boasts aromas of blackberry and plum coupled with floral hints of violet and a subtle spiciness. On the palate, velvety tannins create a smooth mouth feel and a vibrant acidity carries the juicy fruit flavours onto the elegant finish.

This wine is has darker fruits and more weight on the palate than the Duque de Viseu wines.
