Ataraxia Pinot Noir, Hamel en Aarde valley 2020

Whilst some might in a hurry to sample the latest 2022 vintage we were lucky enough to secure some older stock. It now shows how the wine has slowly evolved and lost its primary bright red fruit characters and perhaps more settled in its own skin with a bit of bottle age.

Still has an inviting nose and has taken on more tertiary aromas, spices and herbs, soft well balanced tannins and acidity, 14% vol in a warm but good vintage.
