Domaine le Decelle Cotes du Rhone-Villages Blanc 2023

We are delighted to list another wine from this producer. Located in the far north of the ‘southern Rhone’ in the village commune of Valreás, with Mont Ventoux to the East. Some 400 metres above sea level ensures crisp cool mornings and therefore a longer ripening harvest for the Viongier and Marsanne.

Fermented separately in stainless steel vats at low temperatures to ensure the purity of the fruit and then some of the blend spends a short time in large oak barrels to add texture to the middle palate. Medium to full bodied, white fleshed orchard fruits and white flowers on the nose with a touch of exotic mango, lightly peppery on the palate complemented by a lovely, long finish. 13.5% vol
