Montecalvo Falanghina, Benevento 2023

Apparently we tasted this wine at the start of 2023 but never bought it – until we then sampled again towards the end of 2023. We’re now absolutely thrilled with the wine but cross with ourselves for note buying it sooner.

Thankfully now here it is in all its glory… lightly tropical aromas with hints of citrus fruit and honeysuckle. Ripe lemon and apple characters, hints of pineapple and candied peel, and notes of white spice on the finish. Fresh and juicy with appealing minerality. 12.5% vol.
