Sandeman 10 year old Tawny Port

Last year I was privileged to visit Portugal and several of the wine regions, most notably The Douro valley and the house of Sandeman Port. They make excellent wines as well as ports from their main Quinto do Siexo, before being transported to their warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia the following spring after harvest for maturing.

The port displays bright tawny colour with shades of brick red. Notes of vanilla, nuts, raisins. Lovely balance of richness. 20% vol. Serve slightly chilled.
